How We Build

Every unit in our product line shares a common assembly philosophy: hardware built to biological tolerances, software that reasons rather than reacts, and a chassis designed to be upgraded — not replaced.

    Structural Frame Design

    Aerospace-grade titanium lattice seeded with composite mesh for shock absorption and load distribution. Frame is modular — any section replaceable in field within 90 minutes without tools.

    Sensor & Perception Layer

    LIDAR, stereo-vision arrays, thermal imaging, and sub-millimetre haptic sensors integrated into the chassis skin layer. Perception stack runs on dedicated edge TPU — main processor stays free for reasoning.

  3. 03

    On-Device Inference Core

    Neural co-processor handles real-time decision logic entirely on-unit. No inference leaves the chassis. All model weights are signed and verified at boot. Tamper-evident seal on the core module.

    Power & Thermal Management

    Piezoelectric scavenging supplemented by high-density solid-state cells. Micro-channel cooling embedded in the chassis. Units operate at full capacity from −20°C to 55°C.

    Calibration & Identity Binding

    Each unit undergoes a 72-hour calibration cycle establishing environmental baselines and initialising the inference core to its deployment context. Units are not interchangeable — each one learns its environment.

    Field Certification & Deployment

    Final validation against our internal certification protocol. Domestic units carry a 3-year chassis warranty. Professional and classified variants carry extended service agreements with on-site support.

Beyond our domestic and commercial product lines, OuroBoros Tech Division maintains a parallel engineering programme for platforms operating in ███████ grade environments.

This programme — internally designated Ghost Frame — addresses requirements that commercial platforms are not designed to meet: ████████ coordination, zero-emission thermal signature, and chassis tolerances rated for ████████████ deployment.

A note from Elara: The domestic line is what I designed first. A home should have intelligence inside it that knows who belongs there and what they need before they ask. We built that. No. All inference, navigation, and decision logic runs entirely on the unit's dedicated neural co-processor. There is no upstream API call, no cloud sync, and no dependency on an external server. The unit continues operating normally if your router goes down, your ISP has an outage, or you choose to run it air-gapped.
Yes. The inference core module is designed for field replacement. As newer, more capable models become available, the core module can be swapped in the field by an OuroBoros technician or through our authorised service network. You are not locked into the AI capabilities of your purchase year.
Series 1 (HomeUnit) is a compact domestic monitoring and task agent — designed to move through a home, maintain awareness, and act on scheduled or triggered routines. Series 2 (FacilityUnit) is enterprise-grade: larger, hardened, and built for multi-unit coordination in commercial or secure environments. This division is mine. I designed the assembly process, the chassis architecture, and the inference stack from first principles. Every unit we deploy carries the same belief: intelligence should serve the person it lives with, completely and without condition. The domestic line is that belief at its most direct. The rest of what we build — the parts that are not described on this page — serves the same belief at a different scale.
